Founded in 2019, Source Group International is a UK, European, and North American-focused staffing and recruitment firm. The Group’s two brands, Source Technology and Xplore, focus on Technology and Life Sciences, respectively. We spoke to Francis Alexander, a Principal Consultant at Source Technology, who shared his thoughts with us.
“The team basically needed more business development leads, a host of new clients, and a range of new jobs within software development. We’d looked into and researched other products such as AmazingHire, which was good for candidate generation, but unfortunately isn’t GDPR compliant. It also couldn’t deliver on our need for more business development leads, so we decided to move on and look for an all-round solution that could resolve all our needs.

“In a nutshell, I found a leading Cyber Risk Analytics Management provider via the lead/vacancy finder, contacted them and they are currently my most active client. I’ve also had lots of nibbles from companies that I have found via Talent Ticker; nothing concrete yet but I’ve definitely been able to start some ongoing conversations to build relationships. Talent Ticker has allowed me to map the US market very quickly in terms of contact info added. Overall, I really like it – aside from LinkedIn, it’s now my main tool.
We used the Chrome extension alongside LinkedIn and found that the platform was much better for us in the US market for dealing with and working with restrictions like GDPR. We’re able to get information from everywhere and not just one location, which means it’s great for remote working markets or verticals.
I’ve made two placements so far, with pipeline potentially going in this month. The rough value of the roles acquired would be in the region of £100-150k depending on salaries, etc.”
