Spotify – Founded in 2006 in Stockholm, Spotify are now a global, household name. They changed the way we access and listen to music, appealing to people all over the world. Venly – Blockchain technology providers, Venly, were founded in 2018 in Antwerp, and were previously known as Arkane Network. They recently launched the Venly Market, the first-ever peer-to-peer and blockchain-agnostic NFT marketplace. They enable users to access new revenue streams without having blockchain engineering experience.

Venly recently secured a €21 million Series A funding round, placing them in a strong position for new growth. Currently hiring for 12 remote vacancies, the firm are looking to strengthen their Software Engineering, Marketing, HR, and Business Development teams.

Ergatta – Brooklyn-based Ergatta are a digital fitness start up, founded in 2018. The company set out with a mission to help people on their path to fitness using technology to motivate, engage, and encourage their users. Their flagship product, the Ergatta Rower, challenges the traditional idea of ‘at-home’ fitness and uses a gaming-based interface to make your workout fun and engaging.

Following their $30 million Series A raise last year, Ergatta are now enhancing and developing their game studio to expand their offerings. Currently they are advertising a handful of live roles. Ergatta’s opportunities are based in New York with some remote roles too. Hiring is taking place now in their Software Engineering and Product teams.

Course Hero – Founded in 2006, this Redwood City, California-based online learning platform offers a suite of learning resources aimed at helping students and supporting educators with their teaching skills. Course Hero provide over 60 million course-specific study resources to their users, with both free and subscription memberships available.

Having raised $380 million in December 2021, Course Hero is well on track for continued growth. With around 20 live roles, the company is focused on future scaling and is currently looking to strengthen their Software Engineering, Product, AI/ML, and Design teams.

mmob – London-based mmob help customer-facing fintechs with an intelligent infrastructure to support partnerships. Although still in their infancy, mmob, founded in 2020, have already won several awards including FStech’s ‘Fintech Startup of the Year 2022’ and were one of Finovate Europe’s ‘Best of Show’ 2022.

Earlier this year (2022), mmob secured £5 million in a seed funding round and are carefully putting this new capital to good use. The firm had outlined plans to develop their platform and invest in their new Malaysian office. Currently, mmob are hiring for both their London and Kuala Lumpa locations, investing in their Software Engineering and Business Development teams specifically.
