The Need For The UAS Focus, LLC Program • Worldwide, there is increasing news stories about “drones.” Some coverage is favorable, some is not, and some is comical. However, it appears that the adage “any publicity is good publicity,” is working for drones. • A significant, and growing , number of people (our potential “Customers”) are enamored by drones and want to be drone, or “UAS” (UAS unmanned aerial systems) service providers to “get in early on a new, growing and potentially profitable technology.” • FAA rules are becoming more palatable, and it is currently possible for our potential Customers to become UAS providers with little, or no, regulatory aggravation. • The FAA is obligated, by law, to integrate UAS into the US National Airspace by the end of 2015. A look at the proposed 2015 regulations indicates that our potential Customers will still be flying and producing a generous income stream from providing commercial UAS service. • Some localities and States have enacted various regarding the use of UAS, but these laws do not prevent a Customer from using a drone to provide commercial services at a profit. • Along with the grown number of potential UAS users, there is a tremendously emergent desire on the part of a wide variety of commercial markets for the service that can be provided by UAS. In summary, there is a large pool of potential Customers who want to, and can be, UAS service providers. BUT, there are a number of problems faces by this group, particularly in the nature of the “don’t know what they don’t know” variety
