Midwest Tax Group is a CPA firm located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Midwest Tax Group specializes in many different types of returns, from individual returns to business and non-profit returns. Our streamlined process allows us to prepare returns in the most efficient manner. Efficient doesn’t mean careless, however. We review every return for accuracy, and we stand behind all of our returns. We don’t just prepare your return and hand it to you with an invoice. We go over your return, pointing out items that can help your tax situation. We can help with IRS negotiations, adjusting your W-4, or uncovering deductions that may have been missed. Our fees are based on a flat fee, based on the type and complexity of the return. Our fee includes electronic filing, direct deposit of refunds, and audit support. If your return is selected for audit, we will represent you in front of the IRS at no charge. Also, our fee includes free phone calls throughout the year to discuss your tax situation. We don’t keep a stopwatch at our desk, and I encourage phone calls so that you have are fully informed before making any major decisions that may impact your returns. In addition to the bound copy of your return that we give to you, we keep a digital copy of your return as well as any supporting documentation (such as W-2’s, 1099’s, etc). If you need another copy of your return or any of your tax documents, we can immediately email a copy to you at no charge.
