Maxim business recovery & insolvency services was incorporated in May 2013. Maxim is a growing, independent firm which operates nationally from its registered office in Sheffield. Our core business is in assisting corporates (small owner managed to SME businesses) and individuals who are facing financial distress. This includes acting as licensed insolvency practitioners when a corporate body or an individual enters a formal insolvency process. Our business is built upon reputation and acting ethically. We recognise the importance to those who instruct/refer clients to us that the role we undertake is a direct extension of their reputation. We understand that facing financial problems can often be very daunting and stressful. In addition to providing our clients with expert advice and a clear direction to follow, we also consider it essential to adopt an empathetic and positive approach in addressing the problems they are facing. We ensure that in formal insolvency procedures our primary duty to maximise the return to the individual’s/company’s creditors is fulfilled. In addition, Maxim provides advisory services and support to corporates and their management teams, individuals and funders regardless of whether there is any financial distress or not. An engagement is only undertaken when it is appropriate to do so, either on an interim/part time executive or consultancy basis. If engaged, a formal engagement letter will be issued specifically defining the scope of work to be undertaken and associated costs.
