JKM Medical Billing Services, Corp was established in the year 2007. Its founder, Katherine Arce, initiated herself in the healthcare industry in the year 2000. Her passion for effectiveness and efficiency in the intricate administrative world of healthcare led her to form a company that sought to catalyze providers who were constantly feeling disoriented and spent significant amounts of time and resources re-educating their staff in the interest to keep them abreast of ongoing changes in the healthcare and insurance industries; taking time away from their vocation of serving the community. JKM focuses on educating providers and their staff on policy updates, fee schedule changes, ICD changes, and other organizational needs by providing management tools, creating a unique training program based on the specific demands of the practice and maintaining benchmarks that note the progress the practice has made after teaming up with JKM. Daily administrative operations and constant policy changes & updates burden providers, narrowing their patient interaction as they are inundated with the processing of different requirements in order to receive reimbursement from the insurance carriers. JKM’s goal is to grant healthcare providers a helping hand and ease their way through the dynamic changes in healthcare. JKM seeks to lower the provider’s current administrative strains by guiding them in ways that create a better practice flow; introducing measures to increase practice revenue and/or possibilities to decrease practice staffing expenses, all based on a practice analysis, which is provided free of charge once the provider discloses necessary information for the assessment.
