20 Years Experience including Accountant, and management consulting I've worked as an accountant for the last 10 years, in the private sector specialising in Management accountants, and bookkeeping. I like to keep things simple, and where possible empower the people I work with, which tends to benefit both parties. My experience covers credit control, purchase ledger, accruals, prepayments, full management accounts, process improvement, audit-able processing, internal audits and analysis including big NHS data. In the last few years, I have extended my experience to being part of management teams, running businesses, and making strategic decisions. During this time I have taken on big contract reviews, and re-negotiations. Excel, systems, software and process improvement is something I have excelled in, I have a knack of looking at a system or process and identifying areas for improvement which means more time can be spent on value added work or analysis. I also have 10 years of commercial experience including Sales Analysis and Account Management mainly within the fashion/retail industry. What I can do There are a number of things I can do: I can be your book-keeper, keeping on top of your ledger making sure it is in order for you to make decisions and run your business to more detailed/involved work, including Management Accounts, business analysis, VAT returns and Tax returns.
