So, you have this incredible company. You put your blood, sweat, and tears into making it tick. Day in and day out, you show up and give it your all without any guaranteed tomorrow or anyone else to rely on. This is your baby. And then. Let's just say.... -one day you get that dreaded notice from a government taxing agency, the verbiage looks like a foreign language, and all you know is it says you owe money. Big time. -you want to raise some capital and the potential investor is asking for all of these ratios or percentages about the financial stability of your business. -it's time to take out a loan and the only way you can start the process is by providing three years of financial statements. You are twiddling your thumbs because you punched some numbers into your Schedule C last year and don't have the slightest idea how to generate legitimate documentation. These are all situations where I come in and understand how you feel. You are the talent of your business, not the accountant. Unfortunately, that isn't enough of an excuse for most business matters. As an entrepreneur, you have to have your ducks in a row and the sooner you do that, the sooner your anxieties will go away about any of the above situations (not limited to) happening to you. I am here to bridge the gap, at a realistic rate, between entrepreneurs and their financial understanding.
